Each Arco is proudly owned and operated by local entrepreneurs dedicated to making a positive impact in their communities. You’ll find Rainbow Snow popping up at farmers markets, tee-ball games, or your favorite street corner. Plus, our shaved ice trailers are available for private parties, corporate events, or any occasion that could use a burst of colorful fun!

Our whimsically-retro shaved ice stand is dubbed the Arco Iris or the Arco for short—a playful nod to the Spanish word “arcoíris,” which translates to “rainbow” in English. To dig deeper for all you etymology geeks out there, the term itself is from the Latin word “arcus” meaning “arch” or “bow” and the Greek word “iris” meaning, well, “rainbow”!
But before these mobile stands were used for slinging shaved ices, they were actually mobile DJ booths! The original trailers were built in the late 1970s and were actually painted like big records!
